Team members
Manage roles, invitations, seats, member access, and workspace departure.
Open Organization settings → Members to manage access to the organization and its projects.
Roles
An organization has three roles:
| Role | Access |
|---|---|
| Member | View telemetry, usage, and privacy settings. Create projects. |
| Admin | Member access, plus project settings, API keys, privacy, retention, and organization settings. |
| Owner | Admin access, plus the ability to assign the owner role and change other owners. |
An admin can assign the member or admin role. Only an owner can assign the owner role. An admin cannot change another owner. An owner cannot change their own role from the member table.
Invite a member
Open members
Open Organization settings → Members.
Start an invitation
Select Invite member.
Set access
Enter the email address. Then select a role.
Send the invitation
Submit the invitation.
An admin can invite a member or admin. An owner can also invite an owner.
The seat count includes organization members and active pending invitations. At the plan limit, the invite button is not available. The server also rejects an invitation if a concurrent invitation takes the last seat.

Manage pending invitations
The pending invitation table shows the email address, role, and expiration. Use its action menu to:
- Copy link for direct delivery
- Resend the invitation email
- Revoke the invitation
A new member can accept or decline the invitation. telemetry.dev asks an unverified account to complete email verification before it shows the invitation.
Change or remove a member
Use the role menu in the member row to change access. Role limits still apply to owners and admins.
Select Remove member to revoke a member’s organization and project access. Confirm the removal in the dialog.
Leave an organization
Select Leave organization in the Members tab, then confirm the action. telemetry.dev removes the active organization and sends you to onboarding.
